It's really easy to go to the Humane Society and pick out a cute pet to bring home. But do your research! All animals are different, so make sure it's right for you. Ask your self these questions before buying: Do I have time to care for this pet? Will I commit to this pet? Will I spend time training this pet? Do I need/want this pet? Will I give this pet everything it needs? After asking these questions and are still willing to get a new pet, start your research.When (or if) You decide to get a new pet, make sure your NOT choosing to the pet because it has 'beautiful eyes' or 'Look at that cute spot on its nose!' Choose a pet for its personality, not coloring. If you do adopt, remember that you've just done a good deed! Thousands of animals are dropped off at the humane society every year. Also, I hope you have fun with your new pet! :)
