Paint-a-rock!
Painting a rock is more fun then you'd imagine. Although it is not entirly an animal craft, you can paint any animal you want! Here are the directions:
1.) Lay out newspapers on your working table. It's a good idea to wear old clothing.
2.) Take out paint (none water-color) and, unless it's squeezable paint, take out paintbrushes and water, and take out a rock or 2 with a smooth surface.
3.) Think of an animal design to paint. Have fun!
4.) Make sure you let the paint dry before overlaping colors.
5.) When you're finished, let it dry.
6.) Then, you have finished your craft. Put your craft anywhere you want, like in your room.
Tug-o-war toy for a dog!
An animal craft is a tug toy for a dog!
1) Get 2 or 3 strips of felt
2) Tie the felt strips together once in a knot at the top
3) Braid tightly the strips of felt together leaving about 2, 3, or 4 inches of felt on the bottom
4) At bottom, tie a knot
Your dog will love you after you make this for him/her!!!

Sock Catnip Toy!
A cool toy to make for a cat is a catnip sock!
1) Get a old sock( baby socks work best, depends on how big of cat)
2) Put catnip in the toe area(maybe a little more if you want)
3) Tie sock closed by wraping rubber band around sock above catnip(make sure it is tight!)
Your cat will love you!!!

Frozen Tug-o-war Toy!
This toy is a simple animal craft you can do!
1)Soak a tug-of-war toy with water and then put it in the freezer.
2)The next day you can give it to your dog
3)If you dog loves ice, be sure to give him/her this frozen treat

'Homemade" Animal Poster!
This craft is so fun to do... if you love animals and want to display it, then this craft is perfect!
1)Take out a large piece of white construction paper Important:(one that you can see through)
2) Find a animal picture that you like and is easy to trace
3)Put this animal picture under the construction paper
4)Trace the picture with pencil first
5)After tracing with pencil, use a black pen/marker over the pencil marks
6)Color it!!!!!!!!!! Be creative!!!!!!!!!!!
7)Hang your new, "homemade" animal poster in your room! This craft will show off your love for animals and give your room some pizazz!
